As a performer, I have been involved with Paraphrase since its first show, Little Shop of Horrors. However, only after returning home from my first year of college did I have the opportunity to take a leadership position as choreographer for The Addams Family. Up until my move to New York, I lived my entire life on the Central Coast as a 4th generation inhabitant of Pacific Grove. There I got my start performing in more than 20 musicals and plays, singing in choir, and dancing Afro-Latin Jazz with the DiFranco Dance Project. During the year, I now attend my dream school, New York University's Tisch School of the Arts, where the red doors of the Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute have become my home and artistic training ground. As a choreographer, I am passionate about furthering plot and character development through dance that encompasses a multitude of diverse styles. I also always aim to create work that will make everyone from a Prima Ballerina to a first time dancer feel and look confident on stage. I feel so privileged that I have the opportunity to do what I love year-round with a group as gifted and talented as Paraphrase Productions.
